On March 10, the first Partner Sharing Session of SEER Robotics was held at SEER headquarters in Shanghai. The event focused on the theme of "SRC Makes Building AMRs Easier", gathering excellent partners together from upstream and downstream of the industry, such as supply chain, vehicle manufacturers, integrators and media associations, to expore the AMR manufacturing, application and innovation, and to create a new business model of open sharing and win-win cooperation.

1/ Open Sharing, SEER ecological resource circle

Mr. Wenting Zhang, Head of Controller Products at SEER, shared the topic "SRC Makes Building AMR Easier". He pointed out that controller layering has become inevitable in the field of mobile robotics, and controller manufacturers provide more differentiated options and value to the majority of integrators. At present, most vehicle manufacturers prefer to make standardized products. The emergence of controller makes some "standard parts" appear in non-standard products, which allows integrators to make more innovations on the basis of standardized products.

Zhang said, in the controller technology and product development level, SEER focus on the implementation of ease of use and openness, so that our partners can more easily use SRC controller to build AMR independently, enrich the market application cases of AMR, expand the SEER partner model library, and finally providing more suitable and intelligent logistics solutions for end customers.

As for integrators or vehicle builder partners, the use of SRC controllers, in the whole factory control, can ensure the unification of the underlying technology at the hardware level, as well as the unification of deployment and scheduling at the software level, reducing the comprehensive cost in three areas: vehicle building cost, learning cost, and implementation cost.

Dan Chen, the Product Manager of Industrial Functional Safety at SGS, participated in the event as a supply chain representative to share the theme of "One-Stop Security Strategy for Logistics Robots". She said that the safety of industrial control system is mainly manifested in three aspects: physical safety, functional safety and network safety, and SGS is committed to providing one-stop safety solutions for mobile robot industry manufacturers. In terms of functional safety, SRC-3000FS, a safety-oriented mobile robot controller jointly built by SEER and SGS, has become a trump product for SGS to open up the European and American markets.

He said that the huge demand of material transportation will definitely drive the continuous growth of forklift market, and the momentum of strong growth of logistics robot market will remain unabated in the next five years, and the golden era still exists. The market size growth trend of container and pallet carrying robots is strong, but stronger is the non-standard unit material carrying robots, based on the non-standard nature of global factories, non-standard car body will be the main force of the rise.

Zhang Chunlei, deputy secretary-general and head of the membership department of Shanghai Robotics Industry Association, shared at the end of the event, "If a company does the same thing as others, but does it well, it has the ability; if it does what others can't do, it has the core competitiveness. In the current market situation where mobile robots are so involute, having core competitiveness is the key to development."
